Radar Sensor PreView SENTRY X
It has a narrow field of view for specialized PreView Sentry® applications, the first in a family of frequency-modulated continuous radar sensors operating in the 24 GHz narrowband band. Sentry® offers a wide 150-degree horizontal field of view with an adjustable detection range (range and width) making it a very effective sensor for detection in invisible areas; however, the wide field of view does not allow Sentry to be installed in certain applications, such as above the center of the rear axle on large trucks - the sensor will detect the wheels.
Enter PreView Sentry®X. Using the Sentry® platform, we have created a product with a narrower field of view that is designed to support all the same installation points as the original PreView Xtreme. Sentry®X adds a narrow initial field of vision to the latest product family for the global standard for tracking blind spots on heavy-duty mobile equipment operating in the toughest environments.
